Alcaidesa Golf Resort is located in an incomparable setting, surrounded by the outstanding golf courses of Sotogrande, San Roque and Valderrama and close to emblematic boroughs like San Roque, La Linea and Gibraltar. It has two magnificent Golf Courses: Alcaidesa Links and Alcaidesa Heathland, with a total of 36 Professional Holes and spectacular views to the Sea, Gibraltar and Africa.
Our mark of distinction is Alcaidesa Links, which is characterised by being the only Links-Type Golf Course in Southern Europe. We also have a magnificent Driving Range with 72 Bays, a spacious practice area with putting green, bunkers and a short game area.

Course Description:
The topography of the terrain in Alcaidesa consists of rolling hillsides sloping gently to the sea and ending at a stunningly beautiful beach.
It has almost 2 km of beachfront. A considerable number of its holes give on to the beach, between sand dunes only partially covered by vegetation. The difficulty on the course mainly concerns the prevailing winds in the area.
One of the peculiarities that most impresses the visitor are the spectacular views of the Mediterranean, the Straits of Gibraltar and North Africa, and the unobstructed views of the sea from virtually any location on the course. Because the course is a links course, the winds in the area substantially influence play. There are currently 5 par threes, two of which have water features in front, 8 par fours and 5 par fives, of which one has a water feature just in front of the green.
Alcaidesa Heathland Golf Course

Course Description:
The new course designed by Dave Thomas Ltd offers a variety of natural landscapes ranging from the plateau area (holes 1 to 5 & 17th & 18th) where the course has the feel of a Heathland course with wide fairways & outstanding views of the Mediterranean Sea & the local Mountain Ranges, including the Sierra Nevada, to the river valley where the holes meander along the valley & incorporate various water features / hazards.
Alcaidesa Club House
Situated between the Alcaidesa Links Course and the Heathland Course is the new Club House. An elegant, avant-garde building with a surface area of more than 3,000 sq. offering you the following facilities:-
